This unit will provide you with an overview of SharePoint development with Visual Studio 2010. Specific topics covered will include an overview of the project and item templates, a walkthrough of the designers included, and areas of extensibility within Visual Studio 2010 that can enhance SharePoint development.   In this lab you will begin using the Visual Studio 2010 SharePoint Tools (SPT). This will give you a chance to become familiar with the standard project structure used by SPT.
